Lye Valley: Kurotomesode Ball Gown
A formal kurotomesode has been transformed into a solo piece black ball gown. It takes inspiration several dress designs of the early 20th century. Additionally, the back feature takes particular inspiration from the 1960s and we see a nod to the cultural sensual appeal of the back for the Japanese.

Uber Dandy Kimono uses vintage Japanese kimono to create garments and while we do our best to select ones that are stainless, we always prioritise the beauty of the motifs and fabric over stains.
